Oklahoma trial lawyers M. Shane Henry and Aaron D. Bundy are at it again. The two Fry & Elder partners, SuperLawyers® Rising Stars and AV-Rated attorneys have co-authored their third article of the calendar year for Tulsa Lawyer Magazine. Henry and Bundy’s most recent effort, titled “Connecting in the Courtroom” is featured in this month’s edition of Tulsa Lawyer Magazine. CLICK HERE to read the article in its entirety.
“Just another great opportunity for Shane and I,” Bundy said. “We’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to publish some of what we’ve learned from our experiences in the courtroom for Tulsa Lawyer Magazine. Our passion is being in the courtroom trying cases and advocating for our clients, but it’s been a lot of fun for us to collaborate together on these articles. We plan on writing more of these articles in the future.”
Just as the title suggests, Henry and Bundy’s latest article deals with how essential it is for trial lawyers to establish good connections between themselves and their clients with the court’s decision makers – judges and juries.
As Henry and Bundy wrote: “Connection leads to understanding.”
One technique to better ensure this understanding takes place is to have the court’s decision makers not just focus on “what” the client did, but to have them understand “why” the client did.
