Jody Geiger dons many hats and has quickly established herself as a knowledgeable jack-of-all-trades as Fry & Elder’s office manager after joining the elite Tulsa law firm in January of 2020.
With an extensive background in finance and office management, many of Jody’s primary responsibilities for Fry & Elder include handling the firm’s billing statements and day-to-day operations which include everything from making sure the copiers and phone lines are working to implementing new cloud-based technology.
“This job involves a lot of responsibility and requires one to be able to stop-n-go at the drop of a dime, but I love working at this office,” Jody Geiger said. “I really enjoy the fast-pace environment and the constant variety of problem-solving skills I get to use here, and I love interacting with clients and getting to know them.”
Jody said she has her father to thank for forcing her to minor in accounting en route to earning her B.A.S. from the University of Tulsa. Her ability to efficiently work with numbers and critically think has led her to a career in finance management for over 30 years.
Before joining Fry & Elder, Jody worked at such well-known companies as FedEx® Office – formally Kinko’s –, Avon Corporate and as a general manager for a heating and air company.
Jody Geiger still moonlights in entertainment doing voice overs for radio and training courses for National restaurants.
When she is not at Fry & Elder, Jody enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband Steve for 32 years and counting with five children and seven grandchildren.
Jody notes that her family is her biggest accomplishment and that she somehow managed to homeschool all five children (which was the greatest joy of her life) to further reinforce she is indeed a jack-of-all-trades.
