Elite attorney and best-selling author Roger Dodd is coming to Oklahoma, and that is big news for the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Tulsa family law firm of Fry & Elder.
Dodd, who focuses on personal injury and criminal law, is one of a very few lawyers who has been recognized in multiple states – Florida and Georgia – by Super Lawyers®. He will present an advanced cross examination seminar Friday for the Oklahoma Bar Association. The following two days, he will hold a private cross examination seminar at the elite Tulsa family law firm of Fry & Elder.
The two-day seminar at the Robert G Fry Jr. Center for Trial Studies is limited to just eight attorneys and is focused on the science of cross examination. Professional actors will play the role as witnesses.
“It’s a very big deal and honor to have him come to our firm,” Fry & Elder partner M. Shane Henry said. “He’s pretty much a legend in the legal world, and it’s going to be an intense learning experience.”
Dodd has been featured numerous times on such networks as CourtTV, TruTV, CNN, ABC, CBS, and cable TV. He co-authored a book with Larry Pozner titled The Masters of Cross-Examination, which was a best-seller and is known throughout the legal industry as “the bible of cross.”
The private seminar will be the first marquee event held at the new Robert G Fry Jr. Center for Trial Studies, which opened last month. Located in downtown Tulsa at 1630 S. Main Street, the office is a spacious 5,200-square foot facility with 13 offices and two conference rooms.
