Preston T. Bennett

Preston Bennett joins Fry & Elder as the prominent Tulsa law firm’s newest and most up-and-coming trial attorney.

A native of Arkansas, Preston Bennett will focus much of his practice at Fry & Elder on Family Law & Civil Litigation – specifically divorces, contractual disputes, and school bullying-related issues.  Preston’s practice will also include Appellate work.

“I really seek to establish an open line of communication and a level of trust with each of my clients,” Preston Bennett said. “Each situation is different, so it is important for me to really understand what each client is going through.

This will enable me to customize a plan for each of my clients moving forward which will enable them the opportunity to have the most successful outcome.”

Before joining Fry & Elder earlier in 2022, Preston worked as an associate attorney with Sterling Oaks Law Firm, where his practice areas included: Civil Litigation, Tribal Law, Appellate Practice, OESC Unemployment Appeals and Contract Drafting/Disputes. Preston additionally served as a Bailiff for the Tulsa County District Courthouse under Judge Caroline Wall. 

Outside of the legal profession, Preston has served as an adjunct professor for Rogers State University, teaching classes on Native American Law and Constitutional Law.

Preston attended the University of Tulsa College of Law and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2021. Before attending TU, Bennett attended Arkansas State University for undergraduate school and earned a B.A. in History with a minor in Philosophy.

As an Arkansas native, Preston is an avid outdoorsman. He is a former Boy Scout of America, who holds the rank of Life Scout. Bennett is also a passionate traveler, having visited seven European countries.
