Deborah Lauderdale’s ascent into family law was a bit unexpected. Lauderdale spent many years working in the medical industry before deciding to go back to school in 2012. Later that year, Lauderdale acquired her Associate in Applied Science from Tulsa Community College and shortly thereafter began working at the Oklahoma family law firm of Fry & Elder as a paralegal for one of the firm’s partners, Shane Henry.
“I love this job,” Lauderdale says. “I’m very fortunate to have gotten into family law. I can relate and lend clients a sympathetic ear. I feel like I am able to help people in a difficult time in their life.”
When Lauderdale is not at the firm or in the courtroom, her two grandchildren and daughter get most of her time. She also is an avid reader and has been a great addition to Fry & Elder.
