The Tulsa trial lawyers of Fry & Elder continue to reel in numerous honors and accolades. T. Luke Barteaux is the latest lawyer from the nationally recognized and highly reputable Tulsa law firm to be spotlighted. Barteaux graduated from the 2016 Oklahoma Bar Association Leadership Academy this past week.
“It’s a really big honor,” Barteaux said. “It’s just a great program put on by the Oklahoma Bar Association. You learn an awful lot and you meet a lot of highly-motivated attorneys and other legal personnel.”
As an attorney at Fry & Elder, being in the spotlight is nothing new for Barteaux. He has been listed as Super Lawers® Rising Star and has been this year’s Family Law Section Chair for the Oklahoma Bar Association. His current role as the Family Law Section Chair comes just two years after fellow Fry & Elder attorney M. Shane Henry occupied the same post.
Among the responsibilities Barteaux has as the Family Law Section Chair include setting the agenda for the whole year, overseeing between 15-20 committees in the family law section alone and also scheduling accomplished speakers to present annual meeting.
“It’s a lot of work, but it’s been very rewarding,” Barteaux said. “Fortunately for me, Shane held the same position a couple of years before so going in I knew a lot about what the position entailed. I’ve had a lot of good help and great resources.”
While Barteaux has been active with Oklahoma Bar Association, most of his energy and talents are directed into his practice at Fry & Elder which primarily is centered on Tulsa adoptions and guardianships.
